Ella and I are headed to Cayes-Jamel, Haiti this afternoon. We are going with a small group sponsored by a non-profit called Trezo (www.trezo.org). You can read more on the Trezo.org website but basically their mission is to provide a safe school offering studies through 6th grade in a small village on the Southern coast of Haiti.
Our itinerary is:
Thursday, June 30, 2016 Fly from Nashville to Ft Lauderdale
Friday, July 1, 2016, Fly from FLL to Port au Prince, Haiti
Drive from Port au Prince about 4 hours to Cayes-Jamel
Saturday through Wednesday, working at school, graduation ceremony for first 3 graduates from 6th grade, Vacation Bible School, and several school beautification projects.
Wednesday we will drive back to Port au Prince, spend the night and fly back home on Thursday, July 7th.
